About the Game:

Ever found yourself playing any regular old sandbox game and thinking there could be more to this? Terra Mater is what you're looking for in that case!

Terra Mater is (planned to be) a sandbox game with survival aspects, with the main quirk being that there is no HUD and no inventory. All objects are physically positioned in the world.
The game is based heavily on Systems and procedural generation, so interactions with the world will arise naturally.

The game's setting is that of a world ravenged by climate change, only very few islands remain, as most of the world is now drowning in water. You are one of the very few remaining on this planet, lukily, you stranded on one of the larger islands far up north. Here, you'll be able to make choices, very few others can.

Life finds a way, it always does.

My Plans with this Game:

With the main concept, I want to continue and add more systems and more content. For now, my main goal is the following:

• Modding System
• Map Generation
• Add a Settings Menu
• Compound Item Editor (Items that consist of several placeables)
• Survival Mode Test Map
• Creative Mode Test Map
• Saving System

Of course, after this, I am also planning on bringing more gameplay aspects into the game. These are just some rough ideas but possibilities would include:

• Thirst System
• Planting System
• Damaging System
• Fire System
• Microclimate System
• Weather System
• and many more System!

With the style, as you can probably already tell, I am going for an impressionism style mixed with cartoon elements.
